1. Where you use Slowplay AI
Slowplay AI is a service where you play practice hands against fictional AI opponents, review finished hands with a coach, and study concepts. It is not connected to real-money poker.
- Play practice hands against fictional AI opponents.
- Go back through the decisions of a finished hand with the coach, in the order you played them.
- Learn decision standards through the curriculum and drills.
- Find your starting point with the level test.
2. When not to use it
Each poker site and tournament has its own rules on the outside tools and help it allows. You are responsible for checking and following the rules of the games you join. Even if the rules allow outside help, we consider help that the other players at the table do not know about to be unfair play. Do not use Slowplay AI in any of the following cases.
- While you are playing a hand on an online poker site
- While you are playing a hand at a real table, such as a casino, a card room or a home game with friends
- While a tournament is in progress, whether online or live
- Any case where you enter or describe the cards, the board or the opponents' actions of a hand in progress to get an answer for that spot
3. The line between study and help
- Counts as study
- You play practice hands in the evening. You review yesterday's hand with the coach after it has ended. You repeat a spot you often get wrong in a drill.
- Counts as help
- You ask the coach chat about a hand in progress. You sit at the table and check practice results or a baseline chart on your phone to use in a decision at that spot.
- The standard is timing
- A question asked after the hand has ended is study. A question asked while the hand is in progress is a way of getting help.
4. What Slowplay AI does and does not do
- The practice opponents and the coach are fictional AI characters. They are not connected to opponents or tables on any real poker site.
- Slowplay AI is not connected to poker sites, live tables or the screens of other apps. It has no feature that reads or automatically enters a hand in progress.
- Coach chat is for discussing hands that you describe. It was not built for use during a hand in progress.
However, features alone cannot fully prevent misuse. This guidance sets out the standards you must follow.
5. If you break these standards
This guidance does not replace the Terms of Service. If we confirm use that harms the fairness of other users or poker sites, or the integrity of the service, we may issue a warning or restrict access to features and your account under the safety measures in the Terms of Service.
6. Reports and inquiries
If you learn of a case where Slowplay AI was used during real play, tell us at js@lysners.com. We can check faster if you include details that let us identify the account and the situation. Do not send sensitive information such as card details or passwords.
